I am a designer & photographer based in Charlotte, NC, with a focus on branding, lettering, a fresh, humanist aesthetic, & an unhealthy attention to detail.
For nearly a decade I've been designing and directing at some of the top agencies in NYC, creating brand systems, directing shoots, guiding a team of designers, and, most importantly, doing what I love. I've spent my free time working with smaller clients on passion projects, including a Grammy-nominated album for package design, websites and branding for attorneys, solar power companies, and more, and traveling around the globe shooting for Atlas Obscura, a NY-based oddities & events company.
I have recently relocated to Charlotte and I'm seeking design opportunities, both full-time and freelance. If you have something in mind and you think I'd be a fit, please don't hesitate to fill out the contact form below.
A little more about myself: I'm a 30 year old (already?) outdoor fanatic with two badass snuggly cats, Bishop and Banshee, and a dog named Storm (see below.) I grew up in the foothills of the Appalachians in South Carolina, moved to Savannah to study design and complete my BFA and MA in design at SCAD, and then headed to NYC to pursue my career in design. Although I fell in love with NYC, I realized I needed to be closer to my family and nature, so I moved back south to do exactly that. I am a drummer at heart but I'm obsessed with piano, I prefer a good root beer over most any other drink, and you can't convince me Sopranos isn't the best show of all time.
