Digital Mouth came looking for a brand refresh that would better reflect the sophistication of their high-tech services. They specialize in making sense of complex data by translating vast, messy information into clear, actionable insights for their clients. I wanted the brand to echo that same clarity, so the design system focused on bold, simplified forms with a clean elegance reminiscent of data visualization itself. At the same time, the team has a love for retro technology, which opened the door for a playful nod in the logo mark. The final design strikes a balance between modern and nostalgic: sleek enough for a digital-first company, but with a subtle reference to an analog joystick controller that makes it distinctive and personal. From the logo to supporting visuals, the system offers flexibility across applications while staying instantly recognizable.
